DEMANDS FROM THILEEPAN

  • The Tamil political prisoners detained in known and unknown locations must all be released immediately.
  • The occurrence of the newly conceived “Sinhalisation” under the guise of relocation within the traditional Tamil areas of the north and east must cease immediately.
  • Emergency regulations must be completely abolished. 
  • There should be a revocation of the weapons provided to the border security forces. 
  • Attempts to establish police stations within the traditional Tamil homeland should be completely abandoned.
